Temne People Trust
The Temne People Trust is a sovereign cultural institution rooted in the wisdom and heritage of the Temne people. But our vision reaches far beyond one community—it is a call for global unity, mutual respect, and shared human dignity. We stand as a bridge between cultures, inviting all who believe in the power of ancestral knowledge, cultural preservation, and collective upliftment to walk with us. Together, we build a world where every people's identity is honored, and every voice contributes to the harmony of humanity.
What is the Temne People Trust?
The Temne People Trust (TPT) is a cultural and community development institution established to preserve, uplift, and advance the heritage of the Temne people. It exists as a living custodian of identity, history, and collective purpose — serving present and future generations. Its custodianship is guided by ancestral responsibility and community stewardship. Its mission is to protect what is sacred, strengthen what is shared, and build what will endure.
Under the custodianship of Chief Pa Komrabai Abu Conteh, the Trust carries ancestral authority rooted in tradition, service, and community upliftment. It serves as a sovereign trust structure representing the interests, identity, and future of the Temne people.
"TPT is not merely an organization — it is a living institution that bridges the past and the future, ensuring that the Temne people's heritage, land rights, and cultural identity are protected for generations to come."
